Goro Akechi from the Persona fic The Crow Cries at Midnight.

• At age 12, Goro Akechi was relocated to an abusive foster home in Inaba. A chance encounter with Kanji Tatsumi led to him being removed from this home and taken in by Ryotaro Dojima.

• Still jaded from years of neglect and abuse in the foster system, it takes him time to open up to others. Nanako, Kanji, and Dojima are among the first to crack his shell, with Marie close behind.

• Hears about the Midnight Channel a few days before Yu arrives and begins monitoring it by taking pictures with a cellphone Dojima got him as well as taking copious notes. He's forced to share a room with Yu Narukami and witnesses his TV abilities and becomes extremely jealous and competitive, all while working with Kanji to try and make sense of everything from the sidelines and trying to deduce how Yu obtained his abilities.

• Has the potential of a Wildcard and is on Igor's radar. Marie is Igor's means to try and monitor Akechi as well as slowly chip away at his walls, as her innocence and lack of worldly experience fascinate Akechi enough to try and educate her by sharing books to keep her busy in the Velvet Room.

• Kanji is basically his only real friend besides Nanako, as he keeps most people at a distance for fear of getting hurt.
